Girls Trip!

Well it has been good around the Warren house. As you can see, I have not been very good at the blogging. Hunting season has started for our men folk. This past weekend I was husbandless and kidless and all I wanted to do was go shop but I resisted the temptation. Because this Friday I leave for Disney for 6 days with the girls from work. It will be great but I already have that feeling that I am going to miss them and I have not even left yet.

Haley is doing great in school and she was named Student of the Month for her class. Logan is doing good for his age but is getting some extra help. He is doing I- Stations 5 days a week and tutoring on Tuesday. Today is his first tutoring session.

They both are doing outstanding in soccer.

They have just been giving me some fits with medical concerns. Both are being evaluate for speech. These are my kids and should have no problems with talking. Haley has been seen by an opthamalogist because she is having some eye crossing. Logan has this area under his tongue that we thought was scar tissue from a previous surgery but we know think it is a mucocele. It keeps getting bigger and bigger and he is now saying his throat hurts. We are going to the ENT on Thursday.

Life is Good

Well this has been a different week for me. I went into work late 3 days this week to get the kids on the bus. It was great letting them sleep in and I was bale to get things done around the house but Germantown Parkway traffic at 7:40 in the morning is hell. It only took me 5 more minutes to get to work but man bumper to bumper traffic it was. If I had to do that everyday at that time, I would have to find another job. Thank God Melissa is home from Florida.
Haley is going good in school and soccer. She was very excited that Mrs. Mayall was back at school this week. She is feeling a little under the weather and informs me that her teacher told them strep throat is going around. I am sure someone in the Warren household will have this by next week.
Logan is adjusting to school just fine and I mean just fine. Monday he comes home from school, Chad asks, " Who did you sit with at Lunch?" Logan says,a boy and a girl. Chad said what is their names. he says I don't know and Chad says did you get the girl's number. Logan says no I don't even know her name. He also told us that he will not sit by her anymore because she talked to him all of lunch and he didn't get to eat.
As of Thursday, the girl has a name. It is Addison and they share food. He also looks at her during nap time. She usually wears bows in her hair but he doesn't know why. The boy has it bad. No more only time with the boys for him. He is only 4!

Have a great weekend!

Lots of Girl and Boy time in the Warren household this weekend

Well the boys went to hunting camp for the weekend. Chad was grinning from ear to ear when they pulled away. Chad said that he had a great time with Logan and he kept him laughing all weekend long.

Me and Haley had lots of girl time. We saw Nanny McPhee Returns and Ramona and Beezus. The more we are alone together the more I see she is my child. ATTITUDE, ATTITUDE. Don't know where we got that attitude.

Hope everyone has a good week.

I started my week off right fighting traffic coming down Germantown Parkway. So glad that I usually have to be at work at 7 instead of 8. Never thought I would say that.

Eventful Tuesday Morning

We had a great start to our Tuesday morning in the Warren household. By the time we left the house he was emotional, crying and saying that his head hurt. Yes your head does usually hurt when you cry off and on for 30 minutes. It all started with Chad and Logan fighting over an under shirt. Chad wanted it tucked in and Logan did not. Then Chad as the great father figure he is informs Logan that he is not going to start this crap and to cut that crying out.

I go get Haley up and she is limping. She went to bed complaining of her left knee hurting but she does not know what she did.

So gave both kids Tylenol after Chad left. We hugged it out and are on our way out the door when Haley turns to Logan and tells him "Brother, Momma is probably gonna come to school ans check me out, so I will not be on the bus." Once again he is now crying again.

If I do not get a call from the school today, it will be a good day. Because Haley really is limping and the good mother that I am, I still sent her to school. I will probably pay for this one.

Thank goodness I am off tomorrow.

School Days

Well today is the first day that both kids will be at school all day long. Logan only ate half his breakfast this morning, so he is probably starving by now. Or true Logan form would be that he is telling his teacher that he is hungry. He had his snack packed for school on Saturday. But at least he is excited. That makes it much easier on Mom.

Haley seems to be a little more excited this year and not quite as nervous. Her teacher seems real nice and laid back. She is enjoying being the Big Sister.

The only real issue is that the kids can't sit with each other on the bus and Logan can't wait for Haley to get off the bus to walk into the school. But he will know his way around that school in no time.

Soccer season is in full swing. By accident, I have played Haley up once again. But she is doing real well. The only problem is that she does not do well with being pointed out. We did have a crying spell this weekend.

Well until next time, have a good day and try and stay out of the heat.
